The Herndon Heat came to a soggy Vienna Staurday to take on the Storm. Despite a wet, bumpy field, both teams showed great skill and created great scoring chances. Exceptional play by both goalkeepers and determined defenders kept the score 0-0. In the 2nd half, the Storm attackers sprayed the Heat goal with shot after shot, while Sophia, Lauren, Claire and Sidney sured up the defense. Wittney and Amanda closed down the middle of the park and created many scoring chances by serving great balls to Kaitlyn, Madison and Mackenzie. With Noelle owning the 18 in the 2nd half, the Storm put together one of its most complete games in a long time. Sunday was a washout and the Storm will look to prepare for two games next week.
