    Kelly Lawrence scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute and Liz Holby added a goal near the end of regulation as the Indiana women's soccer team knocked off No. 14 Tennessee in the Aggie Soccer Invitational on Friday night. The Hoosiers moved to 1-1-0 in notching their first win over a ranked opponent since topping then-No. 13 USC last season in the Hoosier Classic.



  • Upstate Women Suffer 1-0 Loss Under Friday Night's Lights
    The USC Upstate women's soccer team battled the entire game, not yielding a goal until there was eight minutes left, but dropped a tough 1-0 decision to College of Charleston Friday night at Country University Soccer Stadium.

    The Lafayette women's soccer team gave host Delaware all it could handle on Friday evening before a 56th minute goal gave the Blue Hens the 1-0 victory in the opening game of the weekend tournament.



  • Tulsa Women's Soccer Team Nets 1-0 Win Over Arkansas
    Kayla Chambers tallied the game-winning goal for Tulsa, giving the Golden Hurricane a 1-0 victory over Arkansas on Friday night at Razorback Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas. TU moved to 2-1 on the season, while the UA fell to 1-1.



  • Horned Frogs crush Musketeers under the lights
    Jordan Calhoun netted two goals as the Horned Frogs downed Xavier, 3-0, Friday night at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.



  • Redhawks Drop Season Opener to Missouri State, 1-0
    Southeast Missouri State soccer came up short in its first game of the regular season after falling to in-state rival Missouri State by the same margin as last year's meeting, 1-0, at Houck Stadium. The Bears improve to 2-1 overall after winning their second consecutive victory.



  • Jones' Late Goal Lifts Tar Heels Past Aggies
    No. 2 North Carolina saw a two-goal lead disappear in the second half but a score by freshman forward Courtney Jones in the 83rd minute proved to be the game-winner for the Tar Heels as they defeated No. 13 Texas A&M 3-2 Friday night before a crowd of 5,642 at the Aggie Soccer Complex. It was the first of four games this weekend in A&M's Weekend Invitational. The Tar Heels improved to 2-0 on the season while the host Aggies fell to 2-1.



  • Bengals Defeat Air Force 1-0 in First Away Game of Season
    Colorado Springs, CO--Idaho State came back from another slow start to defeat Air Force 1-0 Friday afternoon at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. Idaho State improves to a 2-0 record while Air Force falls 0-2 for the season.



  • Women's Soccer Ties UMass
    The University of Maine women's soccer team tied the Minutewomen of Massachusetts 0-0 in double overtime Friday at the Marshwood High School Field in South Berwick, Maine. With the tie, Maine goes to 1-0-1 while the Minutewomen go to 0-1-1.
