The Vienna Storm opened its outdoor campaign at the PWSI tournament this weekend.  Although the results were not what were hoped for, the weekend provided some amazing highlights.  On Day 1, the Storm took on the Loudon Celtic and despite being down twice, rallied back to earn a 2-2 tie.  With what can only be called an amazing performance, Noelle shined in the goal.  While Mia attracted the defenders, Amanda found the goal twice.  Sidney and Lillian stepped up strong in defense. The afternoon match was a 2-1 loss to the eventual Tournament Champions from Pennsylvania.  But for a bad bounce on a bumpy field, the result may have been different.  Sunday goes in the forgettable column as we look forward to the League opener Saturday against Springfield.
