The Storm Ended League Play in Style Print
Sunday, 04 June 2006

The score board didn't tell the story of the Storm's terrific effort on the last day of League play. The Storm arrived at Colvin Run ready to play. Despite being short a player, the team played with heart and skill and created some quality chances early. When the Loudon Celtic scored on a counter attack, the Storm responded with a goal of their own to end the half 1-1.

The second half provided more highlights including a goal that was disallowed. Then with minutes fading, the always focused Loudon team finished a corner kick to win the game 2-1.

The Storm ended the season 6-2 with 23 goals for and only 8 against. It was another great season and the Storm look to close out Under 9 at the WAGS Festival in the Park.
