The Storm made its debut into travel soccer a memorable one. The Dulles National Tournament started under a gloomy and rainy sky. But the foul weather couldn't stop the Storm from earning 2 well deserved victories. After a rocky start in the first game that found the Storm behind 1-0, the girls responded with 9 straight goals by 5 different goal scorers. By days end, every player on the team had scored. On day two (with temperatures in the 90s), behind rock solid goal keeping and steady defending that didn't allow another goal, the Storm cruised to its first tournament victory. The Storm finished with 27 goals and only 1 against. Click here to see the tournament results.
